The Lake

Past the mountains lies another territory. A large portion of this territory is covered by a lake. In the shallows, fishing can be done by the colony of cats that live there, but the floor drops suddenly in some spaces, making the footing treacherous. Most cats hang around the shallows and chase after the largest fish they can find. The location of the colony puts it in proximity to the lake, high enough so a flood won't endanger them, and close enough so they have a constant supply of fresh water.
