To the south of the forest, nearest the mountains, is a quaint little clearing, with soft soil and a sweet fragrance of lilac and blossoms. It's not a perfect circle, but a rather irregular shape, like a half moon, which gives it it's name. It used to be the perfect place to rest in the sun, or train an apprentice, but now Twolegs sit and eat at the odd wooden structures that dot the clearing. When Twolegs aren't around, birds eat from their trash, so when hunting is otherwise slim, cats may resort to taking crows, jays, sparrows, and other birds.
